Trust matters in our field. Every AI review is a draft for a licensed professional to check: it will not catch every deviation, and it does not replace your judgment. You have line-item control to edit or delete any comment. Each one is flagged minor, standard or critical, so you can filter quickly and keep only what you would have written yourself. Reruns, resubmittals and second looks each count as a review. When you reach your monthly count, AI reviews pause until the next billing period, while logging, manual review and markup keep working. What if the AI gets something wrong?

It will, sometimes, which is why every AI review is a draft. Each comment cites the specification and the submittal, and each specification citation is checked against the actual text of your spec, so you can see at a glance which ones hold up. You edit or delete any comment, and nothing goes to the contractor until you issue it.

What doesn't it handle well?

The AI review is not currently designed for complex shop drawings or similar graphics-heavy packages. Logging, manual review and in-app markup are available for all submittals, so everything stays in one place.

Which AI does it use, and where do my documents go?

AI reviews run on Anthropic's Claude models. Your documents stay in your firm's account and are processed only by the providers named in our privacy policy. They are not used to train AI models.

Does it work with Procore, Newforma or Autodesk Construction Cloud?

There is no direct connection today. Issue the review as a PDF coversheet and upload it to the contractor's platform as you do now. Your own log stays complete in Make Corrections either way.

What files can I upload?

Specifications and submittals are uploaded as PDFs. A text-based specification works best; a scanned one can still be reviewed, but citations can't be checked against it. Very long submittal packages, over about 100 pages, need to be split.

Can I use it without the AI?

Yes. Logging, manual review, markup and coversheets work on every submittal, and manual reviews don't count against your monthly review count.

How do I cancel?

A firm admin can cancel any time from Manage subscription in the account menu. Access continues to the end of the period you've paid for, and your existing reviews remain available after that.

My name is Charles Pifer. I am a licensed architect practicing in Tucson, Arizona. I founded Make Corrections to ease the construction administration time burden by empowering firms to produce consistent, reliable submittal reviews in less time, so we all can spend more time focused on the more enjoyable parts of being an architect.

We are not a big software company catering to contractors with architect use as an afterthought.
